Learning objectives

Demonstrate the added value of hysterosonography to transvaginal ultrasound in evaluating the endometrium in pre and post menopausal women presenting with abnormal bleeding.We will illustrate cases of false positive transvaginal ultrasound and false negative transvaginal ultrasound. In addition, we will demonstrate the benefit of hysterosonography in true positive transvaginal ultrasound using animated image files.
